I Had a Dream
Oh no, I don't do politics, me, and certainly not on this blog.
So let me tell you about a dream I had, about two impossible things.
I dreamed that a Labour Prime Minister had done away with the 10p in the pound tax band.
And then I dreamed that Boris Johnson was the Mayor of London.
And then I woke up, and realised that I was already awake.

LOL!
I had a fairly vivid dream last night including that one of the teams at work resigned on mass (the team that includes witch from hell so it was a good dream I spose).
Be interesting to see what Boris does (and when the first scandal / major gaffe, indiscretion, etc takes place).
Compared with the near total dourness of Brown and the dull yesterday-ness of Ken, it does feel a little like a breath of fresh air.
I think the fact that Boris can be elected to what we are told is a very important job (doesn't seem so important from where I'm sitting in Orkney, but don't get me started) shows that the nation as a whole and London in particular no longer 'does politics'.
Boris seems to have been elected because the people of London thought it would be a good laugh. Again, don't get me started.
