Hopeless Feet
Chiropodists are now called Podiatrists, I found out the other day whilst working with some of them. Their job has become a lot more technical, apparently.
In a different hospital, somewhere in England - for I have worked in many different hospitals this autumn - I found this door, which I rather liked.

Love it! What does it say in the small type under 'Abandon hope.....'?
(never mind needing a podiatrist I think I ought to go back to the optician - or are they called optometrists now?)
It says "If Michael is in" ! If you click on the picture you can enlarge it. I trust this wasn't in a public area? Waiting rooms should have the motto "They also serve, who only stand and wait."
You're right, Daphne, that's what it says. It wasn't in a public area, of course, it was what I'd refer to as backstage. Don't know who Michael is though.
