Eat Your Heart Out Nigella
Here's the work of art I made at half-past seven this morning:
I fear it was more Damien Hirst than Delia Smith but the family seemed to like it once it had been stuffed in a hot oven for a bit.
I don't think I put any hallucinogenic drugs in it but looking at this photograph I do wonder.

Looks like a tasty bird to me and I sure missed having one yesterday. Americans have had their fill of turkey after Thanksgiving and in most states, ham is the meat of choice on the Christmas table.
I like ham well enough but I see it as a deli offering for sandwiches and not as something to go 'oooooh' and 'ahhhhh' at when it's placed ceremoniously on the table.
We did have a good old Brit trifle though as my friend here makes one every Christmas to make me feel 'at home'. We took it down to the community meal (main food items were provided by the staff but individuals had to bring rolls and dessert etc) and actually got a round of applause from those near our table.
It was fun to see some ex Brits and some Canadians had brought crackers and soon their heads were covered with paper hats and the stupid jokes were flying around.
Much fun had by all - just like in your photo by the looks of it.
